Traumatic loss of an only child
I started this group so that people who have lost their only child or the only child that remained, as in my case, could come together because I believe people that did have a child or children who now have none have special issues.

I am grateful for your message. I get some comfort reading your words...I am constanty told by relatives and friends here to stay/be strong .. to focus on my kids but I get little peace from these words ... I am playing over and over again the words of my sisterwhen she called my mym saying that she had a pain in the chest, I wish I were there to take to a hospital.. she was alone in the flat I wish I were there to call the ambulance... I haunted that I have studied and lived abroad away from Greece so long and have missed on everyday things with her.... I so long for her to come to my dreams but have had nothing so far... I hope you are all having a better day than me... I hope tomorrow will be somewhat better... my love and prayers for all
not sure what to say.. I am so sorry you are here too..No words to comfort you.. I feel the pain and hurt.. I too lost my wonderful sister on 21/05 from heart attack at 36... my lifeline is gone and the longing for her just cripples me.. I am trying to take one hour at a time.. there are some moments of sanity and some not so good moments..I would give anything to have her back or to have just a day with her...
