About Me:
I am 33 years old and work as a mental health counselor at a community mental health clinic. I consider myself to be outgoing and funny but since I lost my mom I just feel lost.
About my Loss:
I lost my mom a year ago and have been struggling with finding a "new normal". I'm no stranger to loss; my dad passed when I was 12 and my brother when I was 23, he was 29. However, losing my mom has been very hard. She was my best friend, my main support and just always there for me. I took care of her for the past 5 years as she was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer that was in her liver. I just don't know how to begin to move on. I feel people around me are trying to help but no one can. I feel so lost.

Grandma sewing room
