- my dad last yr got diagnosed with sclc...he was told her had a few spots on his lung and with chemo they would go away..well it didnt it traveled very fast to his hip his right femer,his spine,and his brain...august 23rd he past away at 5:26pm i said my goodbyes to my father...

Traumatic loss of an only child
I started this group so that people who have lost their only child or the only child that remained, as in my case, could come together because I believe people that did have a child or children who now have none have special issues.

Sara,
Thank you for your friend request. I am sorry for the loss of your Dad. I know the pain of loosing someone so special to you, a person who gave us life and because of Dad, is that we are here today. Holidays are very difficult. Last xmas was hard for me because Dad was not around but this year is obviously 10X harder without Dad nor my husband. My son and I are now alone without either of our Dad's.
