My mom died 4 months ago
My mom had pulmonary fibrosis. She was sick for a few years. It was funny how when my grandmother smoked, my mom would always say-I’m gonna die from second hand smoke. My mom never smoked. Hi Donna. I am so sorry for what happened to your husband. You have a similar story to my own. My husband had a melanoma removed from his calf in 2008. They were so sure they got it all after the last surgery they didn't do any other treatment. In 2011 he had fast onset pain with no real explanation until the cancer was found by cat scans and mri. His pain started the end of April, the bone cancer at the base of his skull was diagnosed by mri in May and he was gone July 1st. I know this is going to sound crazy but I wish he had gone faster so he could have avoided that last month of horrendous pain. Please do not feel guilty for being thankful your husband was spared that. Hugs to you from me if you will accept them.
