About Me:
I am married and had 2 adult sons.
About my Loss:
On June 14, 2015 my youngest son passed away very unexpectedly at our home. I found him. He not only was my son but was a best friend to me as my other son is. We hung out together so much and had so many similar interests. My heart is broke. I cannot go a minute without thinking of him. Can’t believe I’m adding this..lost my only other child Sept 2017. 4 days after his 2nd child was born.

Your story sounds so much like mine. I also lost my youngest child... My 24 year old son February 8th, 2015. I also found him. That image of finding him will haunt me forever.

I know Lori. I don't want to either. Even after "all this time" there are days that I just can not go out into the world. All that gets me through is the belief that his spirit lives on and he is guiding us through this hell. He is still doing amazing things and that someday I will be with him again in the same form. in til then, I try to live  so that he is proud of me. Sometimes that seems very hard. The love connection we have with our children can never be broken. Hugs

I am so so sorry for,your loss. It is always sad to welcome a new member to this group but I hope you will find support and hope here and always know you can express whatever you need. I started this group so that people who have lost their only child or the only child that remained, as in my case, could come together because I believe people that did have a child or children who now have none have special issues.
