About Me:
I am an Old Fashioned Gentleman . Now widowed and lost without love.
About my Loss:
I lost my wife due to cancer it took her very quickly much quicker than the doctor said it was going to be.After she died I lost custody of my step daughters and then my son left for college leaving me with an empty nest.

Mark.....I too have very little Support system. My story is very long and complicated and if you want to hear about it I will write it all for you. Nobody seems to understand the pain that does not go away and no after 6 months people assume that I should move on and start living again. The thought is terrifying....I have 2 teenage girls from a failed marriage....and the eldest is leaving home at the end of this month...yet another loss.  What are we supposed to do in situations which are so unfair?

I started this group so that people who have lost their only child or the only child that remained, as in my case, could come together because I believe people that did have a child or children who now have none have special issues.
