About Me:
im only 23 yrs old and I live in a small town called lake Isabella California. its very small everyone knows everyone and your business is always out there you cant hide anything and cant trust anyone up here.
About my Loss:
I was 20 when I found out I was pregnant, I gave birth 3 months before my 21st bday, to a very beautiful and healthy little girl I have ever laid eyes. on January 12th 2013 I rushed behind and ambulance that had my 15 month old daughter(Sophialynn)in the back, she was not breathing and totally unresponsive. I was told shorlty after arriving to the emergency room that she was gone there was nothing they could do. I was later told it was ruled a suspicious death, later ruled a homicide. my boyfriend at that time, not her father, was arrested and charged with murdering my daughter. I was not home when this happened, so I don't know the whole story or even what really happened to my child. all I know is that her skull was fractured from one side to the other in the back. this man is still in jail awaiting trial, and I hope he rots away for what he has done.

Oh my dear sweet Amanda, I have my arms around you and am crying with you. There are no words to take away your pain. There is nothing that any of us on this earth can ever do to change what has happened. I am so sorry. Know that all of here care. We care deeply.

This breaks my heart. I'm so sorry. She was and still is beautiful. My heart hurts for you. My son died because of my boy friend. He was abused as a child and I never knew. He spent his life self medicating. Eventually it took his life. I live in southern California. If you ever want to talk.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More

Traumatic loss of an only child

I started this group so that people who have lost their only child or the only child that remained, as in my case, could come together because I believe people that did have a child or children who now have none have special issues.

Loss of a loved one to alcohol, substance abuse or suicide

If you have lost a loved one to alcohol, substance abuse or suicide please share your story or feelings here. Share the love and beauty of the one you lost. Losing someone any of these ways is not natural and can be hard to understand and ask why? I lost my Mother to an overdose 9 years ago. She also suffered from major depression. Her doctor got her hooked on pain medication and she was addicted most of my life. These doctors who were suppose to help her ended up killing her in the end. I also…See More
