I started this group so that people who have lost their only child or the only child that remained, as in my case, could come together because I believe people that did have a child or children who now have none have special issues.

Hi Nicole, Sorry for your loss. This one has hit me just as hard as mine. Being a widow at 54 on one's birthday!!!!!! Can u imagine that? Well u know exactly how I am feeling. It's almost 9 weeks.That pain, hurt, grief, anger is enough to send one crazy. But life has to go on for us. Our husbands have completed their work here on earth and have gone to do the Lord's work now. We have to release them to continue their spiritual journey. I f we continue to cry , they would not feel happy nd would not be able to rest in peace. Ask God for the grace to move on. Ur hussy is watching over u. Think abt all the nice times u all had 2gether. Grief takes time. U will never ever forget him, but u have to continue living and do the things he would have wanted u to do. T ake one day at a time. That's what I am doing.
