About my Loss:
On March 2, 2020 my 22 year old brother, who was also my best friend and roommate was an innocent bystander killed by a criminal on the run from the police. Moments after it occurred I came upon the scene unaware that my brother was involved, injured or dead. Very quickly became aware my brother’s vehicle was present and first responders were absolutely horrible to me at the scene. They wouldn’t tell me where my brother was or how hurt, they kept telling me they didn’t know what hospital he was taken to. All of this was lies and the way I found he was dead was by watching him go into a body bag. I have severe ptsd and haven’t been able to work or function in society since. 5 years later and my family is still awaiting trial for the murderer who did this to get ‘justice’. All the while he is sitting in jail getting time served instead of doing it in prison.
