Profile Information

About Me:
I am a 27 year old college student. I have a 5 year old daughter and have recently become guardian of my 13 year old sister following the death of my mother.
About my Loss:
My mother died on Friday, July 3rd, 2009 of yet to be determined causes. She came to stay at my house for a few days so I could care for her following rotator cuff surgery. I picked her up from the hospital Thursday night and awoke every 4 hours to give her medicine. When I awoke at 8am on Friday morning, she did not. She was only 51 years old and the single mother of a son, 28, myself, 27, and my younger sister, 13. I have lost my best-friend, mentor, inspiration, and partner throughout the journey of life. I feel as if my heart is gone and there is a hole where it once was.
