- I am Canadian, professional, never married, no kids and have a rich and full life surrounded by many wonderful and diverse people.
- About my Loss:
- Over the last 2 and a half years, I have experienced the sudden passing of two of my best friends (separate circumstances, about 2 years apart) and the death of my father. My Mom has dementia and now lives in a care facility. I have also lost a beloved pet cat and his twin is palliative. I have a very volatile relationship with my two siblings so as our parents leave, I am also losing my family generally, adding tremendously to the feeling if grief and sadness.

Traumatic loss of an only child
I started this group so that people who have lost their only child or the only child that remained, as in my case, could come together because I believe people that did have a child or children who now have none have special issues.
