Profile Information

About Me:
I am a 44 year old female. I enjoy the outdoors, beaches, hiking, camping, Harley Riding, reading and being with people. I work full time as an Accounts Payable Manager and I love pet, specially my cat Black Jack. I have not children. I feel very lost without my husband and the silence is unbearable at times.
About my Loss:
I lost my Husband, Joe to Lung Cancer one month ago. He suffered for six months, but he never gave up the fight to live. We had just celebrated his birthday and we found out he had stage 4 lung cancer two weeks later. I miss him so much, we were married for 21 years, but knew each other for a lifetime.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More

Traumatic loss of an only child

I started this group so that people who have lost their only child or the only child that remained, as in my case, could come together because I believe people that did have a child or children who now have none have special issues.
