- I lost sister #5, the one next to me in age, on March 7, 2016. A short 9 months after being diagnosed with cancer. The last time I saw her was July 4, 2014 at a family reunion. We lived in different states.

Two months now and I still can't say the 'D' word. It still seems so unreal. The text back in June saying she has stage IV colon cancer, not to call her now cause she just can't talk about it.

Traumatic loss of an only child
I started this group so that people who have lost their only child or the only child that remained, as in my case, could come together because I believe people that did have a child or children who now have none have special issues.
