About Me:
I am 23 years old and I live in Arnold MO. I have a 4 year old daughter named Desiree. I am a recovering alcohalic and addict. My life has gone no where fast. Now I must grieve and try and get my life back!
About my Loss:
I lost my boyfriend on 12/29/2011. Thomas Bertrand was his name. Him and I met when I was 18 in our college chemistry class, he was my lab partner. Thomas and I fell in love fast. We definitally had CHEMISTRY. Tom was 19 and I was 18. We were both good kids. Both of us had full time jobs, went to college, had our own car, had money. I'd say a year and half into the relationship we started experiementing with drugs. Pot at first and so on. We never did Heroin. We both became heavy drinkers. The drinking and drugging basically screwed up both of our lives. We both lost alot in life. We both felt like giving up at times. We had eachother and that was it. Long story short. Tom got his hands on these cranberries that were soaked in everclear. They were in the fridge for weeks. I still remember seeing Tom eat these cranberries by the spoon full. We went out drinking that night and I blacked out in the wi morning. I dont remember much. Well we got into an argument and he went to his car. I thought he was sleeping it off. Later on when I checked on him... he wasnt breathing. He died from alcohal poisioning. I never said goodbye. He needed help! I needed help! If I wasnt so fucked up myself I would of seen that he needed to go to the hospital. That he didnt need to be left alone. My guilt is killing me. So many wishes and what ifs. I cant get used to it. I just want him back. I am so lonely without him. I just want to know if he knows that im sorry and that i love him. I wish i could just be with him. :(
