New to the group as of 2/20/2013

I am new to the group as of today 2/20/13. I hope it is a wonderful experience. My main focus is to deal with the loss of my family especially my mother who passed away on 2/14/2010, on Valentines Day.

Thank you for your kind words and sharing with me Christine. What struck me about your loss'es was your younger sister. Peace be to you on this. Over the years I belive in my heart that our loved ones that are gone are only gone here on earth. They are in our hearts, mind and spirit. Try to hold on to that.

Gary, I am so sorry for your loss. I know what you mean by it hitting hard even years after. I lost my grandfather in 2006 and even now there are times when I want to share something with him and I just realize that I can't. Lately it's been even worse because of the death of my younger sister. Every good thing in my life remind me of the people that I can't share it with. I have found this site to be helpful. Befriending others who know the kind of pain I do and being about to talk to them about it has helped me. Blogging has helped me as well. Sometimes I just have to get my thoughts and emotions out. I hope you find the same kind of friendship here as I have.

Thank you for the kind words. I did have a hard time making out what you wrote But, I did catch that you dad passed and i understand your loss. They say it gets better in time, however, with me, with my loss, it keeps hitting hard. Peace to you and be well.

sory abot yore loss gary it dose help coming on hear it helpt me open up abot pass lossess as well as lozing my dad last yr i no it stil hurt tht he has gone coz iv hd more losses after he died i dont no whot i wud of dun if id not fond this website wish is a big help to all of the world
