- she treats all her nieces and nephews as her own

- my dad was the only guy in her life and dismissed any idea of remarrying after we lost him in a car accident when I was 14.

- it doesnt matter where i came from, whether from work or just down the street, she would always excitedly wait for me because i'd bring home a little something for her. Maybe a candy, maybe a new cologne, maybe a snack.

- she'd leave for work at 5am and come home at 11pm just to put me through college.
