you are the constant stream of thought from the moment i open my eyes until i bury my head in the pillow begging for sleep to come.

the reality of this catches me off guard sometimes.

"together we will float like angels", and im banging my fists on the steering wheel. screaming those words. hoping you can hear me.

looking up to the sky.

seeing you in all the rays of the sun.

come back and make me laugh.

come back and horseplay with me until mom yells at us to stop.

come back so i can bum one of your cigarettes, or you can bum one of mine.

come back so i can see you when i walk in that door tomorrow.

come back so i can say goodbye.
