You can find members using regular search, or you can drill down to more specific queries with Advanced Search. Head to the Members tab and enter something into the text box to do a simple search. If you click the "Advanced Search" link, you'll be taken to a page listing any of the Ning Network's profile questions that the Network Creator has chosen to include in the search. Fill out the options you're looking for about a member.

To search for members in a specific location, like Palo Alto, CA, use the location field. Unless the member signed up with the zip code feature, members can save their location in any format. So if you're looking for residents of California, be sure to search for "CA", "California" or any other ways they members might have entered their location.
