It is the same for me, even as to the 4 years. For me, it will always be this way.

I wish I could say it gets better, Elizabeth. You have gone through four years, and I have only gone through 16 months, so I can only think that my life will never hold any joy or happiness again. No, it is not health, but how can we make our memories and emotions "turn off"? I was married for 55 years, so a new life is not wanted at this point. I only wish to leave this place and hope that the Lord allows me to join my husband soon.
I wish you peace and know your pain so well. I think I have become obsessed with thinking of my husband.
