just a little late.
Alright this is my first poem ever... i've never ever written one before... please comment. its about my loss, my grampa, my bestfriend. i miss you.
As 6:30 am rings,
I shut off the alarm
I'm facing fatigue in a ring,
and fatigue got the best of me.
I was a little late.
thinking this wasen't the day
today wasen't the date,
that you'd pass away.
You left us here.
expecting us to move on.
I forgot to tell this in your ear.
i'll always love you no matter what happens.
It's been empty since you're gone.
this part of me broke in ten peices.
how'd you expect me to make it through
Without you.

Oh sweetie - that is beautiful - I'm so sorry you lost your Grampa I guess you're going to miss him so very much. But just be sure that you will have a wonderful guardian Angel watching over you and whenever you feel sad or lonely your Grampa will be sure to help make it better. Keep writing poems - you have a real talent. God bless love Gail x
