The Lord saw you getting tired

And a cure was not to be,

So He put his arms around you

And whispered, "Come with me."

With tearful eyes we watched you suffer

And slowly fade away

Although we loved you dearly,

We could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,

A beautiful smile at rest,

God broke our hearts to prove

He only takes the best.

I just got the news that my just-to-be 4 year old grandson will be moving with dad across the country from Calif., where he was born and we are from, to Connecticut to dad's hometown!  He will have 0 family there, no aunties, uncles, cousins, etc.!   I am feeling so sad and feel it is yet another Loss to cope with.  My daughter passed away frm cancer  over a year ago and my son-in-law kept promising that he would not move the grandson away, yet they will be leaving in June.  Can't see the…

Highs & Lows today, my birthday.  Missing my beautiful daughter terribly, but also have had beautiful messages, phone calls and cards!   

The suffering isn't ennobling, RECOVERY is....Difficult times don't make us better.  It's the working through difficult times that does.  The suffering can force us to draw on strengths we never knew we had.

Thinking of my 2 children I lost.
