My mom died 4 months ago
My mom had pulmonary fibrosis. She was sick for a few years. It was funny how when my grandmother smoked, my mom would always say-I’m gonna die from second hand smoke. My mom never smoked. Dear Sandra,
I am so sorry that your husband had cancer, it is just so evil. Pancreatic cancer took my brother in law 2 years ago in less than a month from diagnoses. It was so impossible to think of something to say to comfort my sister in law and the rest of the family. It is difficult because nothing I say will remove the pain. I think we lived in total shock as I am sure you did.
You will find that you will go thru every emotion there is and that this grief journey is handled individually - in your own time and your own way. My family found it helpful to read this brochure:
