My mom died 4 months ago
My mom had pulmonary fibrosis. She was sick for a few years. It was funny how when my grandmother smoked, my mom would always say-I’m gonna die from second hand smoke. My mom never smoked. I am sorry about your loss. I too came home to find my boyfriend/fiance dead on April 27, 2012. It is something I do not wish on anyone. You asked if it gets easier. I am not sure easier is the word. I think maybe things will be more bearable. Everyone grieves so differently. I am still trying to make sense out of all of this. What I am learning it to be kind to myself and take care of myself during this time. And if I need a day or more than a day to stay home and cry and think of him.... I do just that. I am trying to let all the feelings just be and come out.
I hope this gives you some kind of comfort. I am glad you found this site... use it as much as you need to. :)

i came home 3 weeks ago and found my boyfriend on the floor, he was gone. i havent been able to even function without him. Does it ever get any easier?
