About my Loss:
I lost my mom in august of this year (2013). She was 63, I'm 45. I lost my father 11 years ago. My mother's loss has been so much harder than my fathers. My father had cancer so we saw the process for six months. My mom had been in and out of the hospital for different things for months but we didn't know she was dying. The last time we took her to the hospital was on a tuesday. We were with her until Wednesday night. Her doctor assured us we could leave her the next day and go to work. The next day I got a call at work and the doctor said she'd pass within the next 24 hours and she did. My grief and guilt is so intense I don't know how to process it. I'm being treated for anxiety and depression and I'm quitting my job because it is all too much especially this time of year. Thank you for taking the time to read what I've written. I'm sorry for all of pain you all are going through.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More
