About Me:
I am a single woman with a small immediate family in the Orlando area. I have no children, no spouse, a mother and brother who live nearby.
About my Loss:
Losing my father 11 months ago suddenly to a heart attack breaks my heart as much now as it did then. Due to our small immediate family, it has been like losing 25% of myself. I feel guilty because I should be doing more to help my mom and brother but my own grief is crippling so I feel not only sad but worthless to those who need me. Neither of them are in touch with their feelings...one is in denial and the other resorts to the bottle. They can't help me, but I should be able to help them because that has always been my place in the family dynamic.
