About Me:
I am a 30 year old widowed single mother of a three and a half year old little boy.
I have been grieving in my own way since my husband passed suddenly and have picked up quite a few replacement behaviors to help me cope. I haven't really sought help outside of my circle of friends and my doctor, who has given me some anti-depressants (I was on them before too). I think I'm finally ready to come to terms with my loss.
About my Loss:
My husband of almost 8 years passed away suddenly on May 12, 2011. I witnessed it and pretty much watched him die here in our house. The first responder did CPR for over 45 minutes before an ambulance got here, and I know that he was gone before they took him away. The coroner wanted to have an autopsy done because we had no clue what had happened, it ended up being pulmonary thromboemboli (he had massive and multiple blood clots go to his lungs). He hadn't complained of any pain in his legs or anything, it just came out of no where.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More
