About Me:
I've had heart failure since age 28. Pushing my son damaged my left ventricle severely. Was told I wouldn't live long. 13 years later I'm here for my children.
About my Loss:
My mother passed away when I was 9 months pregnant 13 years ago. She had no prior history of anything with her heart. She went to her clinic and had an abnormal EKG. By the time she got to the hospital they said she had a minor heart attack. That night we talked we laughed. We left after visiting hours. In the morning she told us she was having a catheterization done. I had no idea what it was. It ended up being at 3:30pm. She died during the procedure. They put her on a respirator and that night she was trying to tell me something. I could see it in her eyes. By 7 am she went into cardiac arrest. They revived her but then she died at 8:30am in front of me..She aspirated and choked on her own vomit. They ruled her death Coronary Artery Disease at age 52. The day we buried her clinic doctor who went on vacation left a voice mail on how she should come in to discuss her test results.. I've never been able to trust doctors. I blame myself for pushing to see a doctor why she wasn't feeling well that day. Never got over having to give birth right after her death and live life without her. Now with my own illness I still feel like I need her more then ever.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
