About Me:
I love family and people in general. I'm extremely sensitive, this is why experiencing the loss of my baby sister has been very difficult.
About my Loss:
My baby sister, only sister, best friend, and confidant unexpectedly passed two years ago. Her birthday is approaching on July 4th and I still haven't processed this loss. We grew up together, six years apart.. Just my baby sister and Mom. We also spent a lot of time with our Grandmother who passed away in 2009. We shared a home together and my sister and I did everything together. She was my support system with my son as well as keeping me laughing. I grieve for my mom too. My sister was tbe baby and her and my mom spent even more time together. On one hamd, I'm thankful for the time we spent as a family amd our unique situation as adult siblings sgaring a home together filled with love, disagreements, forgiveness, and going places together daily.. Not a day passed without us saying, "I love you". But when you lose someone unexpectedly and the feelings of helplessness can be overwhelming. I am sad for my mom and son who looked at my baby sister as another mom. She had an onset illness and passed immediately. I don't even recall talking to her the day she passed, only the night before after doing her hair, she said she had a headache. I told her that evening, not knowing these would be my last words "I hope you feel better and I love you". My mom found her unconscious in rhe bathroom the following evening and shortly after arriving at the hospital they said there was nothing more they could do.. I lost a part of me that day, February 4,2015..so did my mom and son. This hasn't gotten easier, I've learned to manage my pain.. Some days are harder than others, but this has been a tremendous blow for me, my mom, and son.
