About Me:
I'm 38, married with 2 children.
About my Loss:
It's been 17 days since I got the horrible phone call from my mom screaming she couldn't wake my dad up. He was 78 but in great shape... Had his mind and was very physically active. When I arrived at their home 7 minutes later... He was gone. My life at that moment was changed forever. It was so very unexpected, no complaints the night before. Even though I have my own family, my children and I never spent a day without them...mostly for dinner but even if it was for 5 minutes. My husband and my dad did not get along so that was always hard for me but never stopped me from seeing them( thank god) my mom only wants me right now... I have stayed with her for 16 days and I feel horrible for her.... She hurts so much and I know at night your mind races. Now... 6 days ago my husband says my grieving should now be over and it's time to move on, even putting restrictions on how I visit my mom. I miss my dad so much... I just still have diffultie believeing he's gone and now this with my husband. Any advice with truly be appreciated! I'm struggling!
