About Me:
I am 50+. The mother of 3 girls. 2 living. I have been married 28 years. I work as a kitchen manager at School District 11 food services as a Rover (substitute). My youngest daughter got married on June 20th. Her and her husband are living in an apartment a few miles away. My middle daughter is living at home. She has some special ed needs and is currently unemployed.
About my Loss:
I lost my oldest daughter in May (26). Her body started rejecting her heart in January when she became suicidal and stopped taking her meds. She entered the lighthouse for help and when released went to live with her friend Lily. After being there about 4 months she had what looked like a heart attack. Her friends husband did CPR on her and they got her into Memorial hospital, who sent her to Denver. She had some brain issues with her heart stopping so they did where they froze her which means they brought her temperature down to 91 degrees. And pump blood through a catheter that has had ice water in it. Then they started heating her up after the apperopriate amount of time. They assessed her for another heart transplant. Since she ttook up smoking after her ordeal at the wlight house they could not approge it. So they told her if she quit smoking they would consider giving her a new heart. Then they sent her home with new medicines and a followup appointment in a week. Also, her frined Lily had to make sure she remembered her medicines since she did have some memory loss. Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
