About Me:
I'm from the UK originally, but I live and work in Dubai
About my Loss:
In February of 2012, my Dad was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS, also known as Motor Neurone Disease or Lou Gehrig Disease). He is still alive, but ALS is a progressive degenerative condition with no known cure and a near 100% fatallity rate. In most cases, life expectancy after diagnosis is less than five years. My Dad is growing visibly weaker with every passing day, and this is made harder for me because I am so far away from him and my family. There are tough times ahead and I need to be strong for my Mum and my Sisters, so really hoping to find an outlet and some extra support here.
