About Me:
I am a 42 year old woman who is going through a very difficult time. I have a wonderful husband who I have been married to for 13 years and two beautiful children - my son who is 12 years old and my daughter who will be 9 in March.
About my Loss:
On the night of August 17th, 2010 my mom passed away. She was only 63 and was my best friend in the whole world.
It was especially traumatic because it was completely unexpected and very sudden. It happened right in front of me, my dad, my husband and my two children. The cause of death was determined to be a massive cerebral hemmorhage in the brain. No one knows for sure what exactly caused it to happen. None of us were able to say Goodbye or I love you.....it literally happened in minutes, before the paramedics had even arrived. I have never felt a void like this in my life and sometimes wonder how I will go on. I have severe depression and anxiety from the loss and am currently seeing a very good therapist. But, there are still many days when I don't even want to get out of bed....I miss her so much.

Grandma sewing room
