About Me:
I am a widow who lived in El Salvador for almost 30 years. I am retired, and I have 3 adult children. I moved back to the USA the end of 2013. I found it hard toadjust to my own culture in the USA, and to make friends. Nobody had the life I had before here that I have met.
About my Loss:
My husband was fine. He went one morning to take a shower and never got out. I pushed to door open and found him laying flat on his back in the shower. I trieed and tried to do CPR. He was already gone so suddenly. He was only 54 years old. Heart attack. I was beyond grief, we were so very close. We had just moved into our dream home not even 6 weeks before. I have a hard time going back to my house in El Salvador now. I miss my life we shared so much. Although this happened almost 5 years ago, I still miss him more than anything. But it's not as hard as the 1st 2 years.

Grandma sewing room
