About Me:
It is my desire to help those who are experience grief. I lost my son in July 2015. I do not want his life and death to be in vain. More about me: I am a journalism student (senior) at the University of Texas Arlington. I love photography and writing.
About my Loss:
On July 12, 2015, my 26-year-old son was shot and killed in Fort Worth, Texas. He loved photography just like me, so after capturing photos at a nightclub, he was an innocent bystander of a senseless drive by shooting which claimed his life. It is extremely troubling for me, because as a little girl, I lost my mother to gun violence as well. So, this has come full circle in my mind. It is my desire to help and inspire someone else through my story.

Grandma sewing room
