About Me:
I am a 61 year old female, born in England, working as a project manager, married, two grown up children, lots of childhood abuse, boxes with lids that need to stay shut
About my Loss:
My older sister. She moved to Colarado over 30 years ago. Lesbian.Diabetic, badly managed. Horribly missed from the start, lost touch for 30 years then I found her via Facebook. Difficult but we managed to build a new bond over the next three years, tenuous ... She had lost a leg to necropathy... Treated me like a stupid kid sister. Then, 4 years after we met virtually, she was suddenly taken to hospital, had second leg amputated and did not recover. I had to tell doctors 3,000 miles away to turn off her life support, not having seen her for over 30 years and having been planning to bring her home to the UK.. The pain is almost too uch... She did not share the dire situation she must have known she was in, I don't know how to get past this.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More
