About my Loss:
My Mom was my very best friend and we spoke on the phone everyday at least once. She died instantly after getting hit by a car on a Saturday afternoon. I had to clean out her place and put together a funeral. The next week our company was sold and they fired 7 of us. My Dad died of cancer 10 years earlier but I wasn't close to him. I'm an only child and my parents are from europe and I really don't know their families there.I married 8 years later & had a stillborn son-my husband couldn't deal with it so he left me. I hold a great job and no one would ever guess that I feel so very lonely and sad all the time. Everything seems temporary and I have no close friends. I enjoy being alone and doing things on my own because no one would ever understand the depth of my pain. I have 'friends' and am invited out for the big holidays but don't go because I know why I'm there--because I have no family.
