- Founders Steven and Jane developed Mourner’s Lane to allow users to create a virtual resting place for a lost loved one. Members can design a headstone, write messages, share photos, videos and music – all on the convenient social networking site designed to offer the grieving some community and solace. The site can be shared with friends and family who are invited to contribute their stories, feelings, media and thoughts about the deceased. It doesn’t matter how young or old, users of all ages are invited to share and give a memorial tribute to the loved ones.
