- About my Loss:
- Tragic, traumatic, sudden, devastating, life-altering... When I lost my mom, I lost myself. When I went home that Monday morning I wasn't prepared. How can you prepare to find the one you love, respect and care for more than yourself - the only stable, important, beautiful, caring, supportive person in you entire life, that has given you life and been with you every moment since then - like that? Imagery that still haunts me to this day... I was raised quite well, to be, among other things, strong and independent. To many it appeared I'd done that after my mother passed, - I missed exactly 7 consecutive days of work - but I've been deteriorating inside since October 1, 2007.
