About Me:
God called my best friend home less than a week ago. His shoes are still right next to the bad, his last soda, and half-drunk bottle of water still sitting on the nightstand, along with the daily medication containers, with his daily doses in each day except one day, because I had just refilled them for him as I have done for so long, that was the least I could do for my angel of a man that he was, he was my friend in so many ways, so dear to me. Not a moment goes by without a thought of him, either his sweet face, beard or not, his hair that I alwaysenvied how perfect it was without doing a thing to it,and the naturally hilarious things he used to say a hundred times a day.To hislove for everybody, ecspecially old people, animals, and his utmost respect for even strangers. I thank God for giving him the strength to get out of bed and strong enough to travel to see his relatives and loved ones for one last time before he went home to his final restingg place. And I thank God for giving me such a wonderful life he and I spent together for so many years.
