Profile Information

About Me:
I am a Professional Life Coach and Bereavement Counsellor. I am married, and have a young family: our daughter is five, and our son is three years old. We enjoy our country surroundings; I'm privileged to have my office located on our property beside our pond.
About my Loss:
One of my grade school friends was hit by a drunk driver as she innocently crossed the street when we were 19 years old. When I was 20, a close friend who was like a little sister to me, died after she lost control of her car on a gravel road when driving to work one Saturday morning.
Are You a Service Provider? If Yes, please tell us about your service.
I provide one-on-one bereavement support to those who have experienced loss in their life. I use a companioning model, believing that people cannot "get over" grief, but aid them to work through it. I have also facilitated numerous support groups. I work with young people as well as adults, and specialize in the area of suicide survivors. My website is www.rootswings.ca
