About Me:
I'm 35. I'm married with 2 children, 14 and 10. I am a Benefits Specialist for a Trucking company.
About my Loss:
2 weeks ago my daddy passed away. I am a HUGH daddy's girl. He was diagnosed with Colon cancer August of 2010 and was undergoing Chemo for the last 11 months. 3 weeks ago he went to the hospital with some stomach pain. 36 hours after being admitted he had 2 massive heart attacks. He was on life support for a week and on the 17th we made the decision to turn the machines off. He took his last breath at 4:05 that day. The Friday before he passed I was in his CCU room for visitation and I was talking to him and asking him for some sign that he could hear me. He opened his eyes, squeezed my hand and had a tear in his eye. He didn't open his eyes to anyone but me per the doctors, step mom, brothers and step sisters. I know that he was telling me that I would be ok, but I'm not! I don't know how to go on without my daddy.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More
