About my Loss:
My family lost our 11 year old son on February 10, 2012. Parker died after complications from surgery to have a brain tumor removed. The tumor was discovered a week earlier after he fell playing basketball. Before the fall Parker was by all accounts a healthy, happy, wonderful eleven year old. We never knew he had a tumor and certainly never expected to lose him a week after it was discovered. This has been the most painful, horrific, life altering experience doe our family. Each day is a struggle, I wake up every day praying that this is just a terrible nightmare but sadly it is our new reality.

Grandma sewing room
