New To This: Lost my young husband

I am new to this and have yet to develop a page.  I am not even sure what a blog post is.

I am 34 years old and was married to my husband, Chris...age 35.  He was in Denver on business when I called him because our 3 year old wanted to talk to him.  A nurse picked up his phone and asked who I was.  I told her and she said she was getting a Dr.  The Dr said they couldn't get a heartbeat.  My husband died suddenly of a heart attack while driving.  This was 6 week ago.  We have…

Shayna, I am so sorry for the loss of your husband.

And first of all let me tell you that we all here understand your pain and your emotions. Because we are living them ourselves. Dont expect yourself to be okay or strong because other people ask you to do that. Other people cant understand the frustration, our loneliness, the love of our lives is gone, and we are left with a new life to carry, so sudden, so many changes. No, this is not just anything, this a sudden tremoundous weight we are carrying for the loss of our husbands. Allow yourself to grieve, to scream, to cry..

It has been over 4 months, since I lost my husband. He was taken away from me. We have a soon to be 2 year old son. And it is so hard to go on without him. My son too was robbed of the chance of meeting his Daddy, growing up with him... So much that he is missing out of.. Oh, this is for me, the biggest test in my life. My husband was young too, he was just 29 years old. People too, constantly tell me that I have to accept that he is gone and move on. But i cannot yet do that. Not yet. I am still holding on to the tought that my husband will soon come in through that door and we will make up for time missed. And that tought is what keeps me moving and allows me to wake up every morning and provide for our son..

I am here to hear you and share your feelings. Hope to hear back.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More
