About Me:
I'm a 52 year old women who is at a loss right now of who she is.
About my Loss:
I lost my partner 54 days after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. We had been together for 4 1/2 years. He was the love of my love of my life. His only wish after being diagnosed was that we get married. We planned our wedding for my birthday. The morning of our wedding, my birthday, he passed away. It's been almost 7 months and I feel like I'm living in a daze, with no real direction. I work during the day which is usually blessing but the nights are awful. I try so hard not to think about how devastating and awful the disease was to him and the pain and suffering he went through. I just want to focus on all the wonderful memories and the time we had together.

I have had good days and bad days but lately, I just can't seem to stop crying. The holidays are horrible. I tried putting up a Christmas tree and decorating for the holidays, only to take everything down and put it away. I just want to skip Christmas all together this year. I'm not sure what I'm searching for right now. I guess just trying to connect with others who are dealing with grief.
