About Me:
I live in Pompano Beach,Florida.I am retired/ disabled(have MS)For this site I want to share the fact that I have bi-polar disorder.I know that this grief is not like any other and other pysical and psychological factors can add to any healing process.I am here for support and suggestions but I have support and suggestions for others too.
About my Loss:
My daughter died on October 16 2012.Not just my only child but the only biologicalike family I will ever have. We always joked that as long as we have each other every thing else would work out. My daughter was a third year college student, studying to be a teacher when she suddenly started exhibiting very bizarre behavior changes. A few months later she was diagnosed with acute paranoid schizophrenia. She spent many years and suffered from this illness. The medication for treating this illness finally caused the fatal interaction that took her life. She was the most beautiful, loving and gentle young woman.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More
