SJ, sadly I can relate to your story in the sense that my daughter was murdered and dumped as well, and it took almost 5 years for her killer to be tried and convicted. I wanted to commend you for focusing on your relationship with your mother and less on the killer(s), and to encourage you to believe that justice is possible. I had almost given up on my daughter's killer ever being held accountable for his crime, but it did happen in the end.
