About Me:
Native Washingtonian transplanted in SC 23 years ago. I am 69 and don't know how I got here..Irish heritage, oldest of 5 girls and waiting but don't know for what.
About my Loss:
Husband 20 years older than me. Had cancer and Alzheimer's. He died six months ago. I took 24 hour care of him for 3 years, sleeping in a chair beside him all that time. Haven't had time to grieve because of probate, fixing everything in the house that is now falling apart, mowing acres of grass...coping with reduced income and having mini pity parties each time a Hallmark commercial comes on TV. Have made it through Thanksgiving and a 20th wedding anniversary but Christmas and New Years are looming heavy. Grief comes at night no matter how much I try to lock it out.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More
