Married a wonderful man named John on July 21, 1990 and continue going strong.
About my Loss:
My Mom passed away peacefully in hospice care at my parents home on July 13, 2012. She was 74 years old. In January 2011 she was diagnosed with Stage IV Colon Cancer.
My Mom being an only child learned independence and showed us as a family and individually to think, listen, weigh what is right and wrong, and no matter what, she was there to catch me when I fell or lifted me higher when I soared.

A beloved wife of 51+ years, the love my Mom and Dad shared for one another was the basis of a long and happy life together, a strong family foundation. My Mom was very talented in anything she did whether a seamstress, cook, gardener, trip planner, crafts, decorator, she did it with ease and taught us so much.

Becoming a grandmother brought her great joy and proud moments of her life. She nurtured her grandchildren and captured each and every moment they were together. Treasured and kept every heartfelt handmade card, picture, and gift.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
