About Me:
I'm a retiree,67 years old, who had been caring for my late mother for the past 11 years. I have always lived at home in an extended family situation (four generations) and am really alone for the first time.I must leave the family home because the up keep is very expensive and my circumstances are reduced.
About my Loss:
I lost my beloved mother September 13, 2015, three days before her 96th birthday. She was very alert until the last week or two before her demise which occurred during a conversation with me. It was sudden in terms of that. She died holding my hand.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More
