About Me:
I'm struggling to cope with my loss. 10 years ago my mother died and I was 12. I don't thing I ever came to terms and ignored my emotions for so long and now my life is going in a positive direction and suddenly I've begun crying when I think about her even at work. I need closure that I don't think I've had.
About my Loss:
My mother died on February 11, 2002. My mothers boyfriend tortured her, broke 6 ribs, fractured her arm and she was found bruised and bloodied with a belt around her neck. I went to school the next day without saying goodbye, I feel guilty that, while I was sleeping in the next room as a happy healthy 12-year-old, she was going through so much pain.
